Persons pursuing certificate courses may be granted three days study leave in each year of the course. This leave is intended to facilitate preparation for the examinations and therefore must be taken prior to the examination.
TERM TIME WORKING is aimed at further supporting a family friendly working environment by seeking to make available attendance patterns which enable employees to balance, in so far as is possible, both work and domestic obligations.
The granting of Maternity leave is governed by the Maternity Protection Act, 1994 and Extensions of periods of leave Order 2001. The main purpose of the act is to provide protection to all pregnant employees.
