18/07/2025 - The Psychiatric Nurses Association is an organisation representing nurses employed in Psychiatric, Intellectual Disabilities, Psychiatry of later life, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Ireland in relation to industrial and professional matters.

The PNA fosters excellence in diverse areas of industrial relations, health legislation, pay and conditions, the domains of education, policy, practice, organisational development and research.

Industrial Relations Officer - Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Industrial Relations Officer.

  • The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the public service and in particular the health service.

  • The successful candidate appointed should demonstrate a good working knowledge of industrial relations processes, be enthusiastic, energetic and be committed to furthering the interests of our members.

  • The successful candidate will have a good understanding of current policies, agreements and legislation as impacts on our members.

  • A nursing qualification is desirable

  • A full driving licence is essential.

  • A Panel may be formed from which future appointments could be made.
