CAMPAIGN OF OPPOSITION TO NMBI FEE INCREASE

Campaign Continues and Grows

Dear Colleague

We refer again to the ongoing campaign of opposition, to the proposed increase in fee by NMBI, and would draw your attention to the following:

1. As the next step in our campaign we draw your attention to a template letter, attached, which we are asking you to personalise and sign, before sending to NMBI, no later than next Friday, 30 th January 2015.

This letter, as you can see, asks very legitimate questions, for every registrant to ask, of their regulatory body, no matter what fee they are seeking to impose. Please send in your personalised letter as quickly as possible but before next Friday, 30 th January 2015.

2. It has been confirmed that the Department (including the Minister) are meeting with NMBI on this Thursday, 29 th January 2015. It is expected that, following this meeting, there will be a further re-engagement, between NMBI and ourselves, with a view to addressing this issue as per the Minister's previous letter referred to in earlier updates.

3. Please continue to circulate, and wear, the badges, in all workplaces, confirming, in a visible fashion, your involvement in the campaign, the fact that you have paid €100 and that you remain registered.

4. We repeat that the campaign continues to grow, and solidify, so our message remains:

STAY UNITED - STAY STRONG - PAY €100
