28/07/2025 -The impact of the ongoing despicable conflict, starvation and genocide on civilians, the healthcare system and healthcare workers in Gaza is devastating.
The PNA stands with our nursing and healthcare worker colleagues in Gaza who face immense challenges including trauma, shortages of medications, supplies, and equipment, and wanton destruction of health infrastructure.
The immediate impact on civilians in Gaza is devastating, as people seek shelter from the relentless Israeli bombing campaign and face malnutrition and starvation.
Those who survive are left to deal with intense trauma and mental health impacts without any refuge or adequate support. The long-term impacts will be generational.
There must be an immediate and unconditional ceasefire to allow for the proper distribution of humanitarian aid and an end to the deplorable and deliberate targeting of health workers and healthcare facilities.
